RMS working for DTMR on Hervey Range Development Road, Townsville
Project Hervey Range Development Road slope repair works
Client Department of Transport and Main Roads
Value $4.8 million AUD

Completion January 2021
Details The project came about from damages associated with the 2019 flood event.  Works consist of slope repair construction to multiple locations including installation of rock anchors, flexible barriers, soil nails, the repair of slips and rockfalls, as well as the installation of erosion control matting, shotcreting and hydro mulching.

Details The Port of Townsville truck staging area is located on Benwell Road, Townsville, outside the Port's main entrance and caters for up to 25 triple road trains.  This facility allows trucks to safely queue in the designated area just outside the entrance to the Port.

Details Located approximately 12km north of Tully, North Queensland, the Smith's Gap project includes a new southbound overtaking lane to improve safety, capacity and travelling conditions on the Bruce Highway.  The fauna crossing links critical corridors of known cassowary habitats in the Smith's Gap Cassowary Corridor.
