Client Department of Transport and Main Roads Value $2.1m AUD Expected Completion January 2024 Details RMS has been engaged by the Department of Main Roads to undertake upgrades at key intersections on Nathan St and Ross River Road to ensure safer access in school zones for motorists and pedestrians including new signalling, cycle paths and access ramps. |

Project Townsville Field Training Area
Client CPB Value $6.1m AUD Expected Completion April 2024 Details As Managing Contractors to the Australian Department of Defence, CPB have awarded RMS a civil works package to construct the Fanning Sector Entry at the Townsville Field Training Area west of Townsville. Works include the design and installation of a pump shed, washdown facility and entry roads. |

Project Mt Fox Substation
Client UGL Value $1m AUD Expected Completion December 2023 Details As part of UGL’s contract to design and construct a high voltage transmission line between Kidston and Mt Fox, RMS was engaged to undertake civil works including access roads and stormwater upgrades around the Mt Fox Substation. |

Project Lakes Creek Rd Piggy Back Cell D
Client Rockhampton Regional Council Value $6.1m AUD Expected Completion June 2024 Details The project is part of the Council’s long-term plan to ensure the development of a state-of-the-art waste management facility that will service the Rockhampton Region well into the future while minimising the overall environmental impact. RMS will be undertaking bulk earthworks and the installation of a geosynthetic membrane for passive gas control. |

Project Emu Creek to Drays Road Safety Improvements
Client Department of Transport and Main Roads Value $22m AUD Expected Completion Dec 2023 Details Delivering almost 20km of safety upgrades to the Bruce Highway between Bowen and Proserpine including road widening, wide centre line treatments, audio tactile line marking, guard rail installations. Works will also incorporate turning lane installations for Miowera, Heronvale/Mookara, Adelaide Point, Lodge and Roma Peak Roads. |

Client Department of Transport and Main Roads Value $16.0 million AUD Expected Completion May 2023 Details SP1 - Safer Roadsides, Ayr - Kerb removal, install concrete channel, guardrail install, widening in sections, encroachment into QR corridor. SP 2 - Safer Roadsides and Allendale Drive - Guardrail, box culverts, road widening, concrete batters. SP 3 - Rest Area Improvements, Christmas Creek - building of new ablution block, and town entry treatments either side of Rollingstone. SP 4 - Safer Roadsides and Overtaking Lane, Leichhardt Creek to Lilypond Creek - Relocation of Weight in Motion device, guardrail, culverts removal and installation, widenings. SP 5 - Safer Roadsides, Muntalunda Drive Intersection - Culvert removal, conduits, lighting, widening, guardrail. |

Project Smith's Gap fauna crossing and overtaking lane
Client Department of Transport and Main Roads Value $26.7 million AUD Expected Completion October 2023 Details Located approximately 12km north of Tully, North Queensland, the Smith's Gap project includes a new southbound overtaking lane and specialised slope stability works on the Bruce Highway. The fauna crossing, a precast concrete arch bridge with cast insitu footings, links critical corridors of known cassowary habitats in the Smith's Gap World Heritage Area. |
